All about Felt Sew Crafty

We are based in Tiptree, Essex. 

The name Felt Sew Crafty came about when I first started my business in 2014. I originally crafted items by sewing pre-felted sheets together (felt, sew, crafty).

Over the years my skills have developed and now I needle felt my items using 100% wool instead of sheets.

I do still sew and create Memory bears and for customers using loved ones clothing from baby to end of life memory items.

​

All my skills come from my Mum, who is my right hand, helping at events and crocheting all our Christmas favour chocolate covers. I have a wide set of craft skills including knitting, dress-making, crochet and embroidery, but my referred craft is needle felting.

I enjoy having the ability to transform balls of "fluff" and creating gifts.

Many people have asked if I can teach, the answer is “Yes, I can!” I am now able to offer teaching sessions in your own home.

All of the items I create are made with love and I hope to bring a little joy to your lives through the items you purchase from me. Or help you develop your own skills.

I also have the great privilage to be a member of the Essex Craft Guild, this involes proving that I make my own craft and go through a selection process.
